Craig Levine has officially announced his decision to step down from his role as Co-CEO of ESL Faceit Group. Moving forward, Niccolo Maisto will assume full leadership responsibilities as the sole CEO of the company.

Levine originally joined EFG in 2020 as Co-CEO of ESL, taking over the position from David Neichel. Over the past several years, he has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s strategic direction, accelerating its global expansion, and fostering innovation within the esports ecosystem. His leadership contributed significantly to EFG’s development into one of the most influential entities in the industry.

In a LinkedIn post reflecting on his departure, Levine expressed deep gratitude: “Being part of EFG’s story has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life. I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved together. I’m especially grateful to the entire team for their passion, creativity, and commitment to shaping the future of esports!”

Although stepping away from day-to-day operations, Levine will continue to support the business in an advisory capacity through the end of 2025. His involvement during this transitional period is aimed at ensuring continuity and a smooth handover of responsibilities.
