  • Port Quest helps successful games get expert support to port to Android.
  • Accepted teams will be showcased in livestreams and global campaigns.
  • Special perks await developers who apply before Devcom 2025.

A big shift might be coming to mobile gaming, and it’s all thanks to a new initiative called Port Quest. Created by the IGDA Foundation, International Game Developers Association (IGDA), and Women in Games International (WIGI), this program is here to help successful PC and console games make their way to Android.

Port Quest is focused on helping studios that already have a proven hit, earning at least $10,000 a month for the past six months and haven’t yet brought their game to Android.

Selected teams will gain mentorship from seasoned mobile porting professionals, along with access to a private Discord server where they can connect and collaborate with other developers and experts.

There’s also a lineup of dedicated office hours, live Q&A sessions, and hands-on workshops, making it easier to overcome porting hurdles.

But Port Quest doesn’t stop at development help. The program also includes a global marketing campaign projected to reach over 100,000 players, exclusive livestream showcases, and opportunities to present the game to a wider audience.

Applications are open now and will be accepted on a rolling basis. The priority deadline is September 15, 2025, but there are special opportunities for those who apply before Devcom on August 18, 2025. For more queries, you can contact porting@igdafoundation.org.
