Nintendo has launched a new app simply called Nintendo Store, designed to make browsing, buying, and staying updated with Nintendo’s world much easier. Much like your one-stop shop where one can explore consoles, games, accessories, and even check their play activity across different Nintendo systems.
The app lets users browse through Nintendo Switch 2 systems, digital and physical games, and exclusive merchandise, before redirecting them to the My Nintendo Store for purchases. While physical items may not yet be available in every region, the app brings everything under one convenient hub for fans to explore.
Beyond shopping, the app also serves as a mini Nintendo news center. You can stay updated on the latest releases, upcoming events, and even receive notifications when your favourite Wish List items go on sale. Another interesting part of the app is its focus on player activity.

Users can log in with their Nintendo Account to review their play records from Nintendo Switch 2, and even see their old play logs from Nintendo 3DS and Wii U if their accounts are linked. There’s also a fun event check-in feature that rewards players for visiting official Nintendo stores and events.
This move comes right after Nintendo’s recent push into Southeast Asia. Back in September, the company established Nintendo Singapore Pte. Ltd., with Takahiro Miura as Managing Director, marking a clear intent to grow its presence in the region.
With a future office also being considered in Thailand, Nintendo’s expansion and the new app together signal a strong effort to get closer to local fans worldwide. Users can download the app on both Android and iOS.
