InMobi has announced the acquisition of MobileAction, an AI-powered app growth platform focused on helping developers and marketers scale across the Apple and iOS ecosystem.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, MobileAction has built a strong presence in app analytics, Apple Ads, and App Store Optimization (ASO) over the years. The platform is used by major global companies, including the likes of Google, Meta, DoorDash, Square, Zalando, Playtika, and Priceline.

The acquisition strengthens InMobi Advertising’s position in the growing app marketing space, particularly as AI-driven optimization becomes increasingly important for user acquisition and app discoverability. The India-based tech company expressed that the deal enhances its ability to help brands reach new app users through both organic growth and AI-powered advertising solutions.

MobileAction brings significant data scale to the partnership, with access to over 90 million creatives, 6 million keywords, 5 million apps, 100,000 publishers, and 500,000 advertisers. The company’s platform is designed to help marketers make faster and more informed growth decisions in competitive app marketplaces.

Following the acquisition, MobileAction will continue operating as a dedicated platform, while its teams across the United States, Europe, and Turkey will join the broader InMobi Group. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed at the time of writing.

InMobi also confirmed plans to continue investing in MobileAction’s product development and global expansion efforts, with focus markets including the US, APAC, and MENA regions.
