Turkiye-based mobile games studio Alpaka Games has raised $2.25 million in a seed funding round to boost its game development and publishing efforts.
The round was led by Ludus Ventures, with additional investment from a16z speedrun and Revo Capital. As reported by Mobidictum, the studio will use this funding to grow its studio’s production and marketing capabilities while speeding up the release of new titles globally focused on the hybrid action genre.
CEO and Co-founder Can Aksoy expressed happiness about partnering with some of the most respected investors in gaming. “As a young studio from Turkiye, speedrun helped us connect with global leaders and sharpen our vision. This funding gives us the momentum to scale our games and team for international success,” he added.
Alpaka Games is a mobile gaming company based in Istanbul, Turkiye. The studio was founded in 2024 by Can Aksoy, Levent Alp, and Özgün Levent Kaya.
In addition to this announcement, the CEO also confirmed that Alpaka Games has been part of the a16z speedrun program over the past few months. This was an opportunity to pitch Alpaka’s hybrid-action mobile genre ideas directly to some of the biggest names in gaming and tech investment.
