KRAFTON India is officially taking over the publishing duties for Real Cricket, the long-running franchise made by the Pune-based Nautilus Mobile. This is part of KRAFTON’s bigger plan to support Indian studios and build stronger homegrown gaming IPs.
The shift allows KRAFTON to manage publishing operations while Nautilus continues to focus on development. KRAFTON had already bought a major stake in Nautilus Mobile back earlier this year for ₹118 crore (approx. US $14 million), and this new phase brings the two teams even closer.
Real Cricket has been one of those games that almost every cricket fan has on their phone at some point, and now it looks like it’s set for an even stronger future.
Anuj Sahani, Head of KRAFTON India Incubator Program and Associate Director, India Publishing – KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator said, “Real Cricket has become a cultural touchpoint for millions in India, and we see its next chapter as a milestone for the future of game development in the country. By bringing this successful homegrown IP under the KRAFTON publishing umbrella, we are doubling down on our Make-in-India vision and strengthening our long-term commitment to building a vibrant gaming ecosystem in the country.”

“For more than a decade, Real Cricket has been driven by one goal – to bring the excitement, nuance and drama of real-world cricket to players’ phones,” said Anuj Mankar, Director and CEO, Nautilus Mobile. “As we enter this next chapter, we are excited about what Real Cricket can become and the new possibilities we can unlock for players in India and beyond.”
For players, this means better live operations, more polished updates, and improvements across gameplay systems. The latest version introduces official IPL team licenses, upgraded visuals, new Hindi commentary, refined animations, and a smoother interface.
There are also two features that are starting from day one, the RC Pass, which is a 30-day challenge-based progression system, and the Real Rewards T20 Series, where your in-game performance can actually translate into real-world rewards.
On top of that, the roadmap includes new tournaments, community-driven events, and more content rolling out through the year to keep Real Cricket fresh and evolving.
