My Talking Tom Friends 2 has started its launch journey in quite a fashion. The casual game from Outfit7 has been downloaded over 6 million times and reached the #1 spot in the Games category on Google Play in 31 countries, including the US, UK, and Brazil, just after a week.
This new chapter in the Talking Tom & Friends series brings back familiar characters like Tom, Angela, Hank, Ben, Becca, and more in a fresh, interactive setting full of fun and activity.
“By staying true to our core promise – delivering uncompromising quality to our users – we’ve reached another historic milestone for Outfit7, with our highest-ever preregistration conversion rate,” said Jernej Česen, COO at Outfit7. “It’s been thrilling to watch the game take off and climb the charts so quickly. Cesen also shared that over half of all users who pre-registered have already downloaded the game. But it’s not just about the download numbers, players are sticking around. Engagement, daily activity, and retention are all strong, showing that people aren’t just trying the game, they’re staying to enjoy it.
Launched this July 17th, My Talking Tom Friends 2 includes new features like a fully customizable house, a bus system that unlocks new places like a Water Park, and tons of mini-games to explore.
This release also marks the start of Outfit7’s new phase. The company has announced more upcoming titles in their mega roadmap for 2025, including a kids-exclusive mobile game and a remaster of the original Talking Tom game. Overall, the year is looking to be a bright one.
