Super Banana Studios has received backing from Griffin Gaming Partners, a leading venture capital firm focused on the global gaming market. This new game development team focused on creating casual puzzle titles.
The studio is led by experienced game makers and longtime friends Danil Moskovoy and Nikolay Ternovoy, who have worked at well-known companies like Zeptolab, Voodoo, Tripledot, Popcore, and Playrix. The exact amount raised hasn’t been shared.
The studio is taking aim at puzzle games that players don’t just try, but stick with. Their strategy is to move fast, focus on gameplay that retains players, and use a mix of in-app purchases and ads that work together instead of clashing.
With a lean and focused team, Super Banana plans to launch multiple games a year and is already working on its first batch using sorting mechanics and market-validated concepts that still have room to grow.
“They’re not launching games to test the market. They’re using the market to test for scale. In a segment flooded with quick copies, Super Banana is structured to outlast. Welcome to the Griffin family”, the official statement read.
Super Banana Studios is currently hiring and works fully remote. They’re looking for people around the world to join their team and help make fun, memorable games. You can see the open roles at the official website.
